Our fully online program is ideal for working K-12 educators. Students will expand their understanding of teaching and learning to design innovative and equitable lessons, activities, and learning environments to promote student success.

Flexible Start Options:
To accommodate our students’ busy lives and teaching careers, we offer two flexible start options. Begin the program when it's right for you.
Summer 2024- Application deadline is May 15, 2024.
Fall 2024- Application deadline is August 1, 2024.
Our Master of Education program provides educators with an optional path to teaching licensure. In addition to the graduate-level coursework for the masters, students will take the required undergraduate education courses needed for licensure in any of the following content areas:

Our unique online program provides advanced health & physical education coursework plus a master of education, ideal for current Health-PE teachers, and candidates seeking teaching licensure in the content area.
Our M.Ed. in World Language Instruction program offers licensure in the following languages:

Goals | Students will:
Understand and demonstrate current methodologies in teaching and learning in today’s classrooms.
Understand principles of systematic inquiry in order to apply results to planning, instruction, and assessment.
Apply current technology methods and innovations to teaching and learning.
Develop skills and knowledge to carry out effective instruction in their content area.
Outcomes | Students will:
Gain a deeper understanding of student development and contextual influences on student development and learning.
Develop pedagogical content knowledge and become more purposeful and intentional in their instructional practice.
Evaluate and apply best practices in assessment.
Create effective, standards-based instructional materials, activities, and assessments for both face-to-face and online learning.
Evaluate scholarly literature and research, and be able to conduct and report on research in their own classrooms and schools.
The masters (program) works because of Dr.Glynn's amazing encouragement and support, but also the program style and support from the faculty. The mix between live sessions and outside work gives a good balance and allows teachers to do what they do best, discuss with one another!
